DFB-Pokal 2025-2026

The DFB-Pokal is the premier domestic cup competition in Germany, contested annually by 64 clubs drawn from across the German football pyramid. The competition begins in August and concludes with the final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, traditionally held in late May. Bayern Munich are by far the most successful side, having won the cup a record number of times. Like the FA Cup in England, the DFB-Pokal provides lower-league clubs with the chance to test themselves against the Bundesliga elite and has produced memorable upsets over the decades.
